Deficiency in Essential Nutrients is biochemically defined as being Sick!

Essential nutrients are different than supplements. You are not supplementing what is essential if you are not consuming it.

The two essential nutrients we all need are Vitamin D and Omega 3. Are you taking them or getting into the sun every day for 20 minutes to activate your Vitamin D?

Do you need to test them before taking them if you have not before? No – Like exercise you don’t need to test your Vo2 max before you start as you know it will be low.

If you do test for essential nutrients you need to test your cell membranes and not blood levels as they don’t provide a true measure of these levels.

When it comes to being healthy – there are many parts or markers for health. There is not 100% probability that you will have health by doing them all. Yet the likelihood increases by completing them. Movement, surround yourself with individuals that bring you joy and are encouraging, consume healthy nutrients and essential ones, sleep 8hours a day and minimal electronic exposures.

We are dopamine beings and you can have dopamine stimulants be it through healthy or unhealthy habits. The more healthy habits you add in the more dopamine will be released then the more likely you are to let go of unhealthy habits as you are filling the dopamine stimulus. Why this is important is so you are moving more toward a higher probability of health and wellness the more you complete healthy habits and that includes having Vitamin D and Omega 3.
